Our Why

There are several reasons we do this but the most important one has to be the joy of giving an opportunity to someone that desperately needs it. The fact is most employers dismiss any applicants with a felony on their record. Now, imagine two felonies on their record and how difficult finding employment would be. This is why we do this. Our second chance program was designed for this reason, and we are happy to say more programs are being created as you read this. 

Our program is unique because it combines education with job placement while you are still incarcerated you attend classes and receive job training.  After candidates have served their time and completed our programs, they will be matched with employers.

 So, to answer the question directly we do this because it’s the right thing to do.
